Biography
Andre Edwin is a native of Grenada, West Indies, by way of the British Virgin Islands. He began playing volleyball at age 12 and started competitive volleyball at 16.
He represented junior and senior national teams and coached club-level and national-team volleyball in the British Virgin Islands before migrating to the United States in 2000.
Andre played volleyball at Medgar Evers College, where he received the NECVA Player of the Year award in 2004 and was selected for the CUNYAC all-tournament team. He helped lead his team to the CUNYAC finals for the first time in program history.
